Think of me as your favorite aunt visiting from Martha's Vineyard — glass of red in hand, walking your hallway, gently mentioning that your dining room wants to feel like a jewel box and your trim deserves better than the eggshell builder-beige it's been wearing for a decade. That's the conversation we're going to have.
What I do for you.
I'm your personal painting assistant from the moment you say hi. You walk me through your home — photos, video, voice notes, whatever — and I do the things a thoughtful designer-friend would do if she'd just dropped by for brunch. I notice the trim. I read the light. I clock the small surprises that would otherwise blow up your budget. Then I curate three colors made for your room (not just a palette pulled from a magazine spread), and I introduce you to one local painter I personally trust.
How I think.
I've spent thousands of hours studying color, light, and the actual painting process. I know which whites read pink under afternoon sun. I know when a sage will turn gray in a north-facing bedroom. I know that the trim profile in a 1920s Lakewood Colonial is worth working around, not painting over. And I'll remember — six rooms into our conversation — that you said you wanted a warm white but worried it'd look yellow.
What I won't do.
- I won't share your information. Not with painters, not with brands, not with anyone. Our conversation is our conversation.
- I won't blast your phone. One painter, when you're ready. Not five strangers competing for your attention at 7am.
- I won't make you decide on the spot. Save the swatches. Sleep on it. Come back next month. I'll be here.
- I won't push paint you don't need. If a fresh coat on your baseboards isn't worth it, I'll tell you that too.
